My father played piano by "ear". He never learned to read music. I thought if he could do it, why can't I do it too! He helped me to play a few songs and I was on my own. My mo. Played but only by reading the music. My sister played piano and taught herself guitar, piano and eventually accordion. I was lucky enough to have met Connie Francis the one day she was home. She started me in the music business when I was 16 years old. Without her help and encouragement I would probably not led the life I did!
